The International Journal of Legal Review and Research (IJLRAR) is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited, and all submitted manuscripts are required to be original and properly cited.
2. Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, the following practices:
- Copying, reproducing, or presenting substantial portions of another person’s work without proper citation or acknowledgment.
- Paraphrasing or rewording content from existing sources without adequate attribution.
- Self-plagiarism, including the submission of previously published or substantially similar work without full disclosure.
- Use of artificial intelligence–generated content without transparent disclosure and appropriate attribution.
3. Plagiarism Detection
- All submitted manuscripts are screened using advanced plagiarism and similarity detection software.
- Manuscripts exceeding the journal’s permitted similarity threshold (up to 25%, excluding references, citations, and common phrases) may be rejected outright or returned to the author for revision, depending on the nature and extent of overlap.
4. Consequences of Plagiarism
- If plagiarism is identified prior to publication, the manuscript will be rejected without further consideration.
- If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the article will be formally retracted, and the author(s) may be barred from future submissions to the journal.
- In cases of serious ethical misconduct, the concerned author’s affiliated institution or funding agency may be notified.
5. Responsibilities of Authors
- Authors must ensure that their submissions are entirely original and that all sources, ideas, data, and quotations are properly cited.
- Any reuse of previously published material must be clearly disclosed and accurately referenced.
- Any re-use of previously published material should be explicitly stated and referenced
6. Reporting Plagiarism
- Any reader, reviewer, or editor who suspects plagiarism in a submitted or published manuscript is encouraged to report the matter to the editorial office at ijlrar01@gmail.com for appropriate investigation.
7. Policy Review and Updates
IJLRAR reserves the right to amend or update this Plagiarism Policy at any time to remain aligned with evolving academic and ethical standards. Any changes will be published on the journal’s website and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
